Abrasive Sawing
Abrasive cutting removes material through grinding and erosion. This method of cutting uses a thin abrasive cutting wheel rather than a traditional saw blade with teeth. Even when cutting extremely hard materials, properly cooled thin wheel abrasive cutoff saws generate minimal heat and produce a clean-cut surface finish. Corrosion Materials’ abrasive saw cutting is the perfect choice for small diameter bar, tube, and pipe. Challenge us with your cutting needs!

Band Sawing
Corrosion Materials’ band saws offer astounding versatility when it comes to cutting corrosion resistant alloy bar, tube, and pipe. In this method of cutting we use high performance blades designed specifically for our alloys, providing precise cuts to your most demanding requirements. Our fully automated CNC saws can handle everything from one or two pieces to large production runs. From small diameters up to 20” diameter, we have you covered!

Shearing
Shearing is a productive and cost-effective method to cut simple shapes, such as squares and rectangles, from larger pattern sheet and plate. The benefits of shearing include a cleaner cut and typically a straighter edge than traditional torch or plasma cutting. We have in-house shearing capabilities up to 3/8” thick. Challenge us with your requirements.

High-Definition Plasma Cutting and Beveling
High-definition plasma cutting is a versatile cutting process in which the plasma arc is forced through a small nozzle to achieve clean, square cut edges. Corrosion Materials can process squares, rectangles, strips, circles, rings, and custom shapes up to 2 1/2″ thick. In addition, we can provide beveled edges for weld preparation. Reduce your bottlenecks, save time, material and weld wire by letting us cut your V, K, X and Y weld prep bevels.

Waterjet Cutting
Waterjet cutting is an environmentally friendly processing method that uses a high-pressure stream of water to carry an abrasive grit. The abrasive grit cuts the material in a cold state, leaving a smooth surface without a heat affected zone and no edge hardening. Corrosion Materials can cut standard shapes such as rectangles, squares, circles, rings and strips, as well as custom shapes with and without interior holes and slots. Let us handle your net-shape or near-net-shape parts on our state-of-the art CNC waterjets.

Laser Cutting
Laser cutting is very precise and offers exceptionally tight tolerances. For sheet and light gauge plate, laser cutting provides better material utilization and less waste. Lasers can handle the most complex jobs, quickly and accurately. Let the experts at Corrosion Materials help you navigate the laser cutting process from start to finish.

CNC Precision Machining
Our in-house precision machine shop manufactures everything from routine parts to sophisticated multi-dimensional close-tolerance components in corrosion resistant alloys. Corrosion Materials’ full-time machinists use state-of-the CNC processing equipment, including 5 mill/turn lathes and 2 vertical 4-axis machining centers. We have the expertise and experience with high nickel alloy components.
Corrosion Materials specializes in providing custom components for many industries. We can machine, drill, tap, turn, bore, bevel, and thread. We can provide our customers a single part for an emergency or prototype, as well as a high-volume production run of hundreds of parts.
Some of the many components we provide are flanges, stub ends, couplings, o-lets, pipe plugs, nozzles, bolts, nuts, caps, block pattern fittings, nipples, shaft sleeves, and taper pins. Challenge us with your unique machining requirements.

Welding
Our certified welders utilize the latest TIG techniques to consistently produce x-ray quality welds on corrosion resistant alloys. We specialize in providing custom fittings, components and sub-assemblies. We commonly provide stub ends, tees, DIP tubes, small pipe spools and specialty components to companies serving industries such as chemical process, oil & gas, power generation, pharmaceutical, water treatment, pulp & paper, and naval defense. We offer testing to specifications such as ANSI, ASTM, and ASME.

Material Testing
We offer a variety of testing services including bend, tensile, corrosion and x-ray testing to uncompromising specifications such as ANSI, ASTM, and ASME. Our capabilities allow you to receive the highest quality corrosion resistant alloys, meeting your most critical specifications.
